Author Biographies

Matheus Cezarotto, New Mexico State University

Matheus Cezarotto is an Assistant Professor and Educational Technology Specialist at New Mexico State University’s Innovative Media Research and Extension Department. Dr. Cezarotto coordinates the Learning Games Lab and provides instructional design expertise for the team’s educational technology products, which include learning games, animations, and virtual labs. His research centers on how these tools promote meaningful learning experiences and guide design teams to create accessible learning technology tools. 

Renata Perim Lopes, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro

Renata has a postdoctoral degree in design from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) with research on teaching and learning in creative data visualization. She is an associate researcher on the Fapesp Thematic Project Digital Collections and Research, at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of São Paulo (FAU USP), where she also did postdoctoral degree. She has a PhD in Design from the School of Industrial Design (ESDI/UERJ), a master's degree in Visual Arts (UFES) and is a professor at the School of Digital Communication and Design at the Infnet Institute - RJ.
